The Lakes
Explore the unique and ancient landscape of volcanic craters, lakes, caves, sinkholes and mysterious underground waterways. The crater lakes comprise four craters, Blue Lake, Valley lake, Browne Lake and Leg of Mutton Lake.

The Valley Lake
Is popular all year round and features a well fenced Adventure Playground and expansive recreational areas. The Wildlife Park and Boardwalk presents indigenous species of fauna in an environment that would have been originally found in the area.

Cave Gardens
Situated in the centre of town was the original supply of water for the early settlers and is still a central meeting place renowned for its famous rose garden.

Coonawarra Wine Region
Just 40 minutes north is one of Australia’s most famous wine regions, highly regarded for its superb red wines. There are 23 cellar doors to visit, all in close proximity. Fort more information visit www.coonawarra.org

Golf
The Limestone Coast boasts some of Australia’s premiere regional golf courses.

Mt Gambier’s Attamurra Golf club is undulating with many of the holes played from elevated tees. The fairways are lush and tree lined, the greens are large, challenging and very true. The course is extremely well bunkered with conditions excellent all year round. After a major reconstruction in 1977 the course has matured into a true test of golf. It is very picturesque with its blend of native and exotic trees and shrubs with an abundance of bird life and kangaroos. The club has won awards for garden beautification and is consistently listed in Australia's top one hundred courses.

Mt Gambier’s Blue Lake Golf Course is the home of the SA PGA and offers an attractive 18 hole lay out adjacent to the Blue Lake.

The Millicent Golf Club lies 12 kilometres from the South Australian township of Millicent, which is close to the southern tip of the border with Victoria. It has gained a reputation as one of the state's finest country courses since its opening in August 1961.

National Parks
A place of inspiring natural beauty, the Limestone Coast’s national parks are home to two of South Australia’s premier natural attractions – the subterranean splendor of the Naracoorte Caves and wild beauty of the Coorong.

The Coast
The Limestone Coast’s rugged cliffs and sandy shores stretch the full length of the Coorong national park to South Australia’s border with Victoria, linking seaside towns full of character and fresh sea breezes. From the provincial playgrounds of Robe and Beachport to the wine hub of Cape Jaffa and cray fishing capital of Port McDonnell, an eclectic mix of outdoors, art,. History and culture will captivate.
